Aimee & Chad – May 5, 2012

“We wanted our day to be fun for everyone involved! We celebrated Cinco de Mayo by serving Mexican appetizers. We enjoyed the Kentucky Derby by showing the race on a big screen TV. We had a candy table for the kids and a photobooth with props that created hilarious memories for us and favors for the guests. We tried to play the ‘song’ of each couple in our wedding party to ensure they all had special moments, too.”

His advice: “It’s a day she has dreamed of since she was a child … allow her to make the major decisions, but ask periodically if there might be something you could help with. (Perhaps licking stamps for the invitations.)”

Her advice: “Don’t stress out or blow your budget on the tiny details! We got loads of compliments on how simple and elegant our wedding was. Couples often get lost in planning “the party of the year” and forget what the day is truly about — sharing your love with your friends and family!”
